BANKS

The Citizens Bank of Forsyth County in Cumming, GA is one of two branch banks we have built for Citizens Bank. Our banking experiences primarily consists of mid-sized community banks. These projects challenge us with high demands for service and quality at an affordable price. One of our specialties is getting these projects done in a much shorter timeframe than our competitors. This bank was completed in 36 weeks while the Free Home, GA branch was completed in just 29 weeks.

Bass completed this Chick-fil-A in Gulfport, MS in May of 2004 after a very rainy 19 weeks of construction. This is the largest of the Chick-fil-A prototypes having a wider, larger dining room which seats 168. Our first project with Chick-fil-A was May 1987 when we built the Snellville, GA store. We’ve built more than 13 different Chick-fil-A concepts in over 300 locations including free standing units, remodels, additions, mall units and a few Dwarf Houses. And so for 17 years we’ve been growing, improving and building with them.

CASUAL DINING RESTAURANTS

Last year Bass turned over this Olive Garden in Columbus, GA to Darden Restaurants within budget and on time following a 24 week construction schedule. Darden’s construction manager commented that Bass has “re-set the bar for us for quality and appearance”. The first Olive Garden we built was finished in December 1993 following a 22 week schedule. All in all Bass has built 12 stores for Darden including three concepts; Olive Garden, Red Lobster and the newest, Smokey Bones.

RETAIL AND TENANT

Discount Tire is a relatively new customer for Bass. Our first store was built in 2002, but already we’ve built over 12 stores with them and have had as many as 5 stores under construction at one time. The Roswell, GA store pictured is a typical design; 8,600 square foot brick building with EIFS accent bands consisting of a sales floor/display area, tire storage area, offices, restrooms, and service area including 4 bays.

TRAVEL CENTERS

Recently the petroleum industry has seen a lot of growth in Travel Center development. Not at all like the mom and pop gas stations that used to dot the nation, these high-tech modern facilities include private showers, movie/television lounges, game rooms, phone/fax stations, laundry services, a wide variety of merchandise, banking facilities, fast food and/or sit down restaurants, truck service centers, truck scales and fueling islands. Since 1997 Bass has been building these projects for Love’s, Marathon, Pilot, Petro, Williams, and TravelCenters of America.

Bass began it’s convenience store projects early in the company’s history, 1987 to be exact with a Circle K. Over the years convenience store design has changed dramatically, but one thing remains the same, our customers rely on us for quality, price and schedule. Petroleum work has particular challenges regarding environmental safety and this makes our experienced Superintendents in high demand to customers. Although we’ve worked with many customers, we built over 175 Speedway/Marathon projects from 1990 to 2002.
